We have a wealth of information. Boxes, even.

Here you can find a link to each category of events that Speech and Debate has to offer. We encourage all students to try their hand at as many events as possible, ranging from the fast-paced feel of Policy Debate, to the unbounded creativity founded in Expository Speaking, to the quirkiness and spontaneity of Impromptu.

Video links can be found showcasing each event or a tutorial. We also provide descriptions of each event, most of which are written by team members who have excelled in them, so that you can be sure you are getting the best learning experience possible. We have also linked the ballots that your judges will be using to evaluate your speaking and performance, so that you can have an idea of what the judges will be looking for.

At the end of some event descriptions, there is a list of Team Resources. These team members have done extraordinarily well and can be considered experts in the event. The best part? If their name is listed, it means that they would be overjoyed to hear from you and help you in any way possible! Whether it be choosing a value criteria for Lincoln-Douglas Debate, prepping bills for Congress, or helping to cut a script for Oratorical Interpretation, these team members are dedicated to not only winning trophy after trophy in their events, but to help you do so as well.
